JASON SANGEKAR, CFA®

Jason leads our investment team with more than 18 years of experience across institutional and high-net-worth wealth management. As Director of Portfolio and Wealth Advisory at Journey Strategic Wealth, he is responsible for setting investment strategy, overseeing portfolio construction, and guiding advisors and clients through complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence.

Prior to joining Journey, Jason served as Chief Operating Officer of an institutional broker-dealer and Director of Investments at a prominent Registered Investment Advisory firm. In these executive roles, he chaired Investment Committees, conducted rigorous manager due diligence, and led the design and management of sophisticated portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.

Jason holds a BS in Finance from the University of Delaware and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charter holder. He is an active member of the CFA Society of New York, where he stays engaged in the latest industry research and investment thinking.

Jason lives in New Jersey with his wife, Caroline, and their daughter, Ava Marie. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, exploring markets, and spending quality time with his family.
