Nesting and Settling: "Never Settle"

"Settling down" and "settling for less" are two phrases that mean very different things.

As we settle into each new home in our journey, we set out personal objects like family photos and small treasures that we carry with us. These little touches anchor us and remind us that our home is where we live, not where we own or accumulate belongings. Settling down and settling in creates peace and stability even as we are free to choose our adventures into the future. Settling into our office spaces means that monitors go up and a quiet, focused workspace is identified. ‘Settling in’ for us allows us to build a fulfilling and satisfying life for ourselves.

I found this bag on our travels: “Never Settle”. How’s that for perfect! Yes, we are mobile, moving from home to home on our adventure and not stopping in one for more than a season, or so. And, yes, we are stable and settle in at each home. With our choice of lifestyle, we are the rolling stone that gathers no moss. We are ever-evolving in our understanding of what we want to do and what we can do with our time and treasure. And we are not settling for less.

My Take - Wherever you are on your journey, if you stop and evaluate your most treasured people, places, and things, if you stop and prioritize your time and activities, what changes would you consider making? Create the time and space to allow some new ideas to percolate!
